I decided to create this Timeline to provide viewers with a historical selection of my work since I began making art as a profession. Although I had been making art since I was a child, I never thought that this would be my career. However, I found that at each difficult stage of my life, I reverted to creating art, whether it be drawing or painting. I always purchased art books and, of course, loved to look at historical and contemporary art.
Finally, when I was 34 years old, I began to do serious photography as my job, working with a friend, we made Educational Film Strips. He did the writing and I did the photography! From there, I naturally began to make artistic images, which was a simple, preordained step into being a professional creative artist! As the years passed, when I was asked about what my work was about, I tried to explain that it was about painting as a process and the association of space, color, and most importantly, action!
